Since 1926, the Kiwanis Club of Longmont has been a vital part of our community, working with our youth building a better place to live. Our motto is “Serving the Children of the World”. We are proud to host “Kiwanis Toy Shop” in the Chinese New Year Celebration event through our “Toys for Kids” program, in which volunteers annually make thousands of wood toys for donation to kids in need being served by family/child welfare agencies and organizations locally, in country and abroad. We have given away about 60,000 toys since 2010.
In 2019, the year of Pig, the Longmont Kiwanis Toy Shop will give the opportunity for children and youth of all ages to complete and decorate a wooden pig! It is a hands-on activity you and your family can enjoy in celebration of the Chinese New Year.
